Educational use
Tax Diagnostic is a preliminary educational screening tool. You may use it to organize questions and consider whether a professional second opinion may be worthwhile. It is not a tax-return examination, formal opinion, filing service, or substitute for advice based on complete facts and documents.
No professional relationship
Completing the diagnostic, receiving a result, submitting a request, or exchanging preliminary messages does not create an accountant-client, attorney-client, fiduciary, or other professional relationship. A relationship begins only if the appropriate professional separately accepts the matter in writing after scope, conflicts, fees, and engagement terms are addressed.
Your information
Results depend entirely on the selections and information you provide. Do not submit confidential documents, tax identification numbers, financial account information, passwords, or complete returns through the diagnostic or ordinary email. You are responsible for the accuracy and appropriateness of the information you choose to provide.
Deadlines and professional advice
Use of this site does not pause, extend, or satisfy any filing, payment, response, election, appeal, or other deadline. If a deadline may apply, contact a qualified professional promptly and independently verify the required action.
Permitted use
Do not misuse the site, attempt unauthorized access, submit malicious content, interfere with service, or use automated means to create abusive or fraudulent requests. Access may be limited to protect the service and its users.
Availability
The site may be changed, interrupted, or discontinued. To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided without guarantees that it will identify every issue, remain error-free, or be suitable for a particular tax position or decision.
